Hope you all had a lovely weekend. I sure did!
On Saturday myself and my husband headed off to The Taste of Dublin. It was our first time there and we had such a lovely day, which consisted of gorgeous food, cocktails & beer and some live music, and just a great atmosphere! I would highly recommend going next year, it’s one I won’t be missing again 😊
Anyway on Saturday I knew I would he doing a fair bit of walking around so wasn’t too keen on wearing high heels that would leave my feet aching, so I went with a pair of wedges. Although the sun didn’t come through on Saturday it was still lovely and warm out so I decided to go with something light and bright for the occasion….
When we got up on Sunday it was a lovely day out and we went off to my step sons football match, and then to do a bit of shopping and some lunch. Sunday morning was a lovely day so I decided to throw on a little dress considering I had my tan on 😊 it’s rare I get my pins out so why not… I had picked up this little navy & white striped dress during the week from
H&M so decided to go with that…
As it was Father’s Day on Sunday, and we had a voucher from Menupages.ie for The Golden Elephant Restaurant that needed to be used before the end of June, we decided last minute to head out for dinner. My hubby deserved to be treated, he’s such a great daddy to his beautiful son Keith.
Anyway, all I can say is – get yourself to the Golden Elephant in Sutton. It was absolutely delicious, cannot fault a thing. Atmosphere was great, plenty of other diners (I always like to see this), great staff and service, and food was just amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed our gorgeous meal and will definitely be going back to The Golden Elephant in the near future!
For dinner I opted for something casual but chic, and kept it on trend with ripped denim and coral heels…
