Hope everyone has enjoyed their last weekend before Christmas 🙂 Can you believe this day next week it will all be over 😦 Time is just going so quick!!
I’ve a few blog posts to catch up on from the weekend so I’ll start off with Thursday Night and the launch of Disaronno Wears Versace in The Baroque Penthouse at The Wright Venue.
I was invited along to the launch with the From Matte To Metallic girls, Jen & Ciara. I was super excited, a little excuse to get glam and head out on a school night 😉 Anybody that knows me knows that I never ever go out on a school night, but hey, it’s Christmas!
The launch was hosted by the Beautiful Nadia Forde, and I was dying to meet her. I loved her when she was in the ‘I’m a Celeb’ jungle. She came across so well and seemed like a genuinely nice, normal girl, plus I really wanted to ask her what Ant & Dec are like hehehe!! I love those guys!
Myself and the absolutely gorgeous Jen were the first guests to arrive.. Jen doesn’t like to be late haha 🙂 it was good to get there first though, it gave is the opportunity to get a few snaps.
The place looked amazing and the bar was full of the yummy Disaronno Cocktails! The launch was all about the newly designed bottle for the drink which was designed by Versace! Looked pretty cool!
Our friends joined us shortly after and we just sat back, listened to the saxophone & bongo music, had the chats, sipped on the yummy cocktails, and really enjoyed the Hogs & Heifers food and just had great fun!
We went over to the lovely Nadia for a chat and to get a few snaps and she was such a lovely girl. So chatty and looked absolutely gorgeous in her Michelle Keegan for Lipsy Dress!
Although the event itself was a quiet one with it being a week night and the week before Christmas, we were with a lovely bunch of ladies – Orla, Caroline, Emma & Niamh, and we all had a great time ❤
I only got to know the From Matte To Metallic girls since I began blogging, and I am just so happy to have met them both. They are super talented at what they do, and are just two of the nicest girls I have ever met in my life! Thanks girlies for inviting me along, looking forward to the next event we attend together. I had a lovely night! You both looked amazing ❤
Now onto my look for the event…
Thank you all so much for the very kind comments, you’re all so lovely!!
I had my make up done by The Make Up Mentor. Tracy is so talented at what she does, she is an amazing artist and it is just so easy to her!! I really really loved my make up!
You can find The Make Up Mentor Here
Now onto the dress…. This dress is one that I fell in LOVE with the moment I seen it on Love Lauren! She wore it a few weeks ago and when she posted the picture I thought WOW, that dress is unreal, bet it cost an absolute bomb!! When she posted the details of where it was from I couldn’t believe my eyes! It was €36 from boohoo.com!! Yep seriously!
When I went on to order it, it was reduced to just €24 so I was happy out!! It then went down to just €20!!!
It seems to be out of stock again, but keep an eye on boohoo.com because it may come back in stock. You can get it in black Here
You can also get a similar short version Here
My shoes are old ones from
Zara, and I borrowed the bag from a friend, which she got from
So there you go guys! Sorry for the delay in getting the details up ❤
As always, thanks for reading!
